Fresh. Whole. Life-Giving.

At True Nature Made, we believe your flour should nourish—not just fill. Freshly milled flour keeps all the natural nutrients, oils, and flavor that are lost in commercial processing. It’s flour the way it was meant to be: alive, whole, and real.

✔ 100% Whole Grain Nutrition
Fresh flour contains the bran, germ, and endosperm—providing vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and fiber. Nothing added, nothing removed.

✔ Superior Taste & Texture
Freshly milled flour brings a rich, hearty flavor and tender crumb to every loaf, muffin, or pancake. You’ll taste the difference from the first bite.

✔ No Preservatives or Processing
Unlike shelf-stable flours that are bleached, refined, and aged for months, ours is milled in small batches and used at peak freshness.

✔ Inspired by Scripture
Bread is sacred. Throughout the Bible, grain and bread symbolize life, provision, and blessing. We honor that by returning to the purity of God’s creation—grain as He made it.

From Hand-Cranked Stones to Mass Production—and Back Again

1700s–1800s:

The Age of Stone Mills

  • Local water-powered gristmills were the heart of every rural town.
  • Families brought in whole grains for fresh, hearty flour.
  • Flour was coarse, flavorful, and alive—full of oils, fiber, and nutrients.
  • Bread was made daily. No preservatives. No fillers

1700s–1800s:

The Age of Stone Mills

  • Families brought in whole grains for fresh, hearty flour.
  • Flour was coarse, flavorful, and alive—full of oils, fiber, and nutrients.
  • Bread was made daily. No preservatives. No fillers.

Whole. Fresh. Local.

Late 1800s: The Industrial Shift

  • Steel roller mills introduced “white flour” by removing the bran and germ.
  • Longer shelf life and smoother texture became the standard.
  • Nutrition declined—but convenience won.

Refined. Stripped. Shelf-stable.

Mid-1900s: Fortified, But Lacking

  • Widespread deficiencies led to synthetic vitamin enrichment.
  • Mass production and national brands took over.
  • Fresh, local milling nearly vanished.

Synthetic fixes for a stripped food.

Today: The Revival of Fresh Flour

  • Artisan bakers, natural brands & wellness communities return to tradition.
  • Stone milling preserves vitamins, fiber, and flavor.
  • Faith-based and health-driven families seek “daily bread” with purpose.
    Returning to what’s true.

A very short tme ago after hearing the truth about store bought flour,  I wanted to nourish my husband and all I care so much about with the not only the truth but with truly nourishing bread.

As a full time working-empty nester, I did not have the time or the resources to mill, mix, proof or bake all the flour goods I had once enjoyed like bread, pancakes, pizza and pasta. Frustrated from the lies and lack of nourishing in store bought baked goods, I decided to dedicate my free time (outside my full time job) to make this God given source available to those who have the same desire with the same time constraints.

True Nature Made  believes  that wellness begins with God.  Inspired by the beauty of God’s creation and grounded in the Christian belief that Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35), our mission is to nourish the whole person: body, soul, and spirit; through knowledge and understanding of the true nature of all that Our Creator has given the earth for His children to truly be whole and healthy.

We create products with purpose—crafted from clean, natural ingredients, thoughtfully sourced, and gently made.  Just as Christ offers sustenance for the soul, we strive to offer goods that support everyday health, healing, and wholeness. From bread to sauces, everything we make reflects our values: authenticity, stewardship, and faith.

True Nature Made is more than a name—it’s a calling. A reminder that natural living and divine truth go hand in hand.

We mill fresh to honor the body, the soul, and the spirit—just as it was intended from the beginning -Truly Natural!
